We have visited Sevilla 3 times and never tire of its cultural and gastromical appeal. So much so we are returning in January 2019. Our 3rd visit was in May prior to attending Vinoble 2018 in Jerez. Here are some highlights from this visit: –
History and Culture
Real Alcázar de Sevilla
Can highly recommend a visit here. Go early to avoid the crowds.
Plaza de España
We always make time to visit.
Food and Wine
Drinking Sherry at Taberna Manolo Cateca. A fantastic range of wines available by the glass.
We went on a fabulous tapas tour with the “Queen of Tapas” Shawn Hennessey. Follow Shawn @SevillaTapas & check out her website that is the most comprehensive tapas bars and restaurants review site on Sevilla and beyond.
We also had lunch with Shawn and Peter at Bodeguita Romero home of the award winning pringá montadito.
Sevilla is one of our favourite places to visit and this was reinforced by the 2 days we spent there this year.
