Four special Montilla-Moriles wines debut in Scotland

Last week it was our pleasure to host the inaugural tastings of wines from two very special Montilla-Moriles bodegas in Scotland.

The tastings took place on the 8th and 9th October in respectively at The Good Spirits Company in Glasgow and Drinkmonger in Edinburgh, conducted by Alberto and Rafa.

The participants included wine, sherry and whisky connoisseurs with most if not all newcomers to these very distinctive wines.

The wines featured were an Oloroso and Palo Cortado from Bodegas Lagar Blanco and the JF 1912 Amontillado and San Ramón Pedro Ximenez from Bodegas El Monte.

We will review the wines in due course but we would like to thank everyone who came along to both tastings and would appreciate it if you could share your reviews and comments with us at
